How to Make Slow Cooker Cheesy Burger Flavored Soup

Ingredients:

  • ½ white onion, diced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (do not drain)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons pickle relish
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 8 ounces bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces frozen Southern-style hash browns
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Add the diced onion and frozen hash browns to the skillet. Cook until the onions are soft.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  4. Drain any extra fat.
  5. Put the beef mix into the slow cooker.
  6. Add the diced tomatoes (with juice), mustard, relish, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
