How to Make Delicious Taco Stuffed Shells

Ingredients:

  • 16 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
  • ¾ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar salsa, divided
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • ¼ cup shredded Cheddar cheese (extra for topping)
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional, for serving)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells in a large pot of boiling water for about 13 minutes or until slightly firm. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any grease.
  4. Add the taco seasoning and 1 cup of water to the beef. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Stir in the refried beans and ¾ cup of shredded cheese. Mix well.
  6. Spread ¼ cup of salsa in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Fill each pasta shell with the beef mixture and place them in the baking dish.
