How to Make Loaded Steak Quesadillas

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of flank steak, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 ½ cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced steak and season it with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook the steak for about 5–7 minutes until it’s browned. Remove it from the pan and set it aside.
  3. In the same pan, add a little more oil and cook the sliced onions and bell peppers until soft (about 5 minutes).
  4. Lay out the tortillas. On one half of each tortilla, add some mozzarella and cheddar cheese, cooked steak, and sautéed veggies. Top with more cheese, then fold the tortilla in half.
  5. Heat a clean pan over medium heat. Add a little butter or oil. Cook each folded tortilla until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from the pan, slice into wedges, and serve hot.
