How to Make Caramel Apple Sheet Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 2 cups peeled and chopped apples

Caramel Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 15×10-inch sheet cake pan.
