Ingredients:

For the chicken:

  • 3½ lbs chicken (legs and thighs)
  • 3 cups buttermilk
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

For the flour coating:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder

For frying:

  • Oil for deep frying

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the buttermilk, paprika, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, salt, and garlic powder.
