How to Make Homemade Spaghetti

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 (29 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles

Directions:

  1. In a large pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the grease.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic. Cook for 3–4 minutes until soft.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, and diced tomatoes.
  4. Add oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  5. Lower the heat and let the sauce simmer for 20–30 minutes. Stir sometimes.
  6. In another pot, cook the spaghetti noodles as the package says. Drain and set aside.
