How to Make Taco Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • 1 (16 oz) can refried beans (optional)
  • 2-3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • Salsa or taco sauce, for topping
  • Crushed tortilla chips, for topping

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough and press it into a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain the grease.
  4. Add taco seasoning to the beef and cook according to the package instructions.
  5. If using refried beans, spread them on the baked crust first.
  6. Spread the seasoned beef over the crust (and beans if used).
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  8. Bake again for about 5-7 minutes until cheese melts.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  10. Top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, olives, salsa or taco sauce, and crushed tortilla chips.
  11. Slice and serve warm.
