How to Make Green Pepper Steak

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds beef round steak, cut in strips
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large green peppers, cut in strips
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • Hot cooked rice (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the beef with soy sauce, garlic, sugar, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
