How to Make Banana Split Trifle
Ingredients:
• 1 (3.4 oz) box instant banana cream pudding
• 2 cups cold milk
• 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed
• 1 (10 oz) angel food cake, cut into cubes
• 2 bananas, sliced
• 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
• 1½ cups sliced strawberries
• 1 cup chocolate syrup
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
• Maraschino cherries for topping
Directions:
- In a large bowl, whisk the pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Gently fold in half of the Cool Whip into the pudding.
- In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the angel food cake cubes on the bottom.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas, then half of the pudding mixture.
- Next, add a layer of crushed pineapple, then strawberries.
- Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle some nuts.
- Repeat the layers one more time in the same order.
- Spread the rest of the Cool Whip on top.
- Add more chocolate syrup, nuts, and cherries on top for decoration.
