How to Make Crescent Cheese Danishes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of crescent rolls
  • 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (for glaze)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Open the crescent rolls and lay them flat. Pinch the seams together to form a sheet.
  4. Cut the sheet into squares or rectangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each piece.
  6. Fold the corners slightly toward the center but leave the middle open so you can see the filling.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. While they bake, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
  9. Once the danishes are out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
