How to Make Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs beef brisket
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced

Directions:

  1. Mix salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, oregano, and cumin.
  2. Rub the spice mix all over the brisket.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan. Sear the brisket on both sides until brown.
  4. Put sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
