How to Make Beef and Macaroni Soup
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped celery
3/4 cup chopped carrots
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup elbow macaroni
Directions:
In a large soup pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain the fat.
Add onion, celery, and carrots. Cook and stir until they begin to soften—about 5 minutes.
Add basil, oregano, diced tomatoes with juice, tomato soup, beef broth, water, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together.
Bring the soup to a boil.
Add the macaroni and stir.
Lower the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes, or until the pasta and vegetables are tender.
Serve hot and enjoy!
