How to Make Easy Breakfast Cheese Danish
Ingredients:
- 2 cans of crescent rolls
- 2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- Glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spray a 13×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Open one can of crescent rolls. Spread it in the bottom of the dish and press the seams together.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and 1 egg until smooth.
- Spread the cheese mix over the crescent roll layer in the pan.
- Open the second can of crescent rolls. Lay it on top of the cheese mixture and press the seams.
- Brush the top with the egg white.
- Bake for about 35–40 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
- Let the danish cool a bit, then drizzle with glaze.
- Cut into squares and serve.
