How to Make Easy Breakfast Cheese Danish

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of crescent rolls
  • 2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • Glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray a 13×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Open one can of crescent rolls. Spread it in the bottom of the dish and press the seams together.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and 1 egg until smooth.
  5. Spread the cheese mix over the crescent roll layer in the pan.
  6. Open the second can of crescent rolls. Lay it on top of the cheese mixture and press the seams.
  7. Brush the top with the egg white.
  8. Bake for about 35–40 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
  10. Let the danish cool a bit, then drizzle with glaze.
  11. Cut into squares and serve.
