How to Make Magic Chicken Pie

Ingredients :

  • 6 tablespoons butter, cubed
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 white onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Directions :

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Put the butter cubes into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Place the dish in the oven until the butter melts. Take it out and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix the Bisquick baking mix with the milk. Stir until smooth. Set aside.
  4. In another bowl, mix the chicken stock and cream of chicken soup. Stir until smooth. Set aside.
  5. Now layer the ingredients in the baking dish without stirring:
    • First, spread the shredded chicken over the melted butter.
    • Add the mixed vegetables on top of the chicken.
    • Sprinkle the chopped onion over the vegetables.
    • Add the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
    • Pour the Bisquick and milk mixture over everything.
    • Finally, pour the chicken stock and soup mixture on top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.
