How to make Salisbury Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Mushroom Gravy
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups beef broth
For the mashed potatoes:
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
